COVID-19 Procedures

To our Customers:

At YouPackWeStore we strive to ensure a safe & secure experience for our clients and team during pickup, storage and delivery of your personal belongings. We follow Health Canada’s guidelines, and have implemented new safety procedures to keep our clients, communities and staff safe.

As always, your personal belongings are stored in a safe, secure and sanitary facility while within our care. We have made many new adjustments to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at every level of our operations. These new policies were put in place to keep you, our staff and your household safe. We highly recommend you read through the new procedures prior to your appointment.

Mask Policy

  • Our mask policy is aligned with the University of Waterloo’s policy on face coverings, and as of July 1st 2022, the mask requirement has been suspended.
  • We understand if you choose to wear a mask or face covering during your scheduled pickup/delivery, and if you feel more comfortable having our staff wear them too just send us an email 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Operations

  • We will not be servicing any addresses with confirmed cases of COVID-19, where there is evidence of illness, or if you are in self-isolation.
  • We are in compliance with the Canadian Government’s guidelines regarding frequent hand washing, sanitization and physical distancing.
  • If requested by the customer, staff are required to wear masks during scheduled appointments and will not make physical contact with clients even if appropriate PPE is worn.
  • Any team member who shows or reports symptoms (even mild) are not permitted to work, and must follow self-isolation practices for at least 5 days.
  • Trucks, carts, mobile phones and any equipment used by our staff during appointments are sanitized regularly.
  • If the environment is deemed unsafe, YouPackWeStore reserves the right to refuse service and times will be re-booked 5 days from original appointment.

Pickup - At Door

  • Please have items placed at the front door of your house, apartment or unit prior to your pickup.
  • If the environment is deemed unsafe, YouPackWeStore reserves the right to refuse service and times will be re-booked 5 days from original appointment.
  • Staff are required to sanitize before & after each appointment.

Delivery - To Door

  • Our staff will deliver your belongings to the front door of your house, apartment or unit.
  • If the environment is deemed unsafe, YouPackWeStore reserves the right to refuse service and times will be re-booked 5 days from original appointment.
  • Staff are required to sanitize before & after each appointment.

Payment

  • Payment for deliveries must be made 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment.
  • Online payment can be made through your account using a credit card or debit.
  • E-transfer payments can be sent to billing@YouPackWeStore.com.
  • Due to our contactless service, we cannot accept cash at this time.
