Storage services shall include the storage of the Customer's possessions at a storage facility chosen at the sole discretion of YouPackWeStore.com
Customer agrees to be present or provide a proxy to release their items at the specified pickup/delivery date, time and location. Written consent is required if proxy is to be used for delivery of items.
Changes to the confirmed pickup/delivery date or location must be communicated by the customer to YouPackWeStore.com at least 2 days prior to the pickup/delivery date. Changes made within 48 hours of pickup/drop-off are not guaranteed. Pickups and deliveries are free of charge. Additional fees may apply for additional pickups or deliveries within the same billing period (1 calendar month).
The customer acknowledges and agrees that the safe packing of items is the sole responsibility of the customer.
In the event that the Customer is not present for the Customer's scheduled pickup/delivery date and time and YouPackWeStore.com representatives attempted to contact the customer before returning to the storage location, the customer will have to reschedule the pickup/delivery. If this happens, the Customer may be responsible for paying a missed pickup/delivery fee.
In the event of a cancellation without proper notification, the Customer will be responsible for paying a cancellation fee. In the event a pickup vehicle is sent to the Customer's address, and the Customer has cancelled without proper notification, the Customer will be responsible for the pickup fee in addition to any cancellation fees.
For security and insurance reasons, we cannot permit anyone to access their items while in storage. For your convenience, we offer door to door deliveries within 24 hours provided availability.
During the signup process, the customer may choose to order a Free Box Kit / packing supplies. Payment for the Free Box Kit will be required upfront but will be deducted from the final cost of storage. The Free Packing Supplies offer is valid one per customer per billing period (1 calendar month). If the final cost of storage is less than the cost of the Free Box Kit, the customer will not be charged for storage but will not be refunded the difference. Each Free Box Kit and additional packing supplies will be delivered to the customer's designated address. Changes to the previously scheduled delivery of dates or location must be communicated by the customer to YouPackWeStore.com at least 2 days prior to the delivery date. Changes made within 48 hours of delivery are not guaranteed.
Additional packing supplies purchased are non-refundable and non-returnable.
In the event that the Customer is not present for the Customer's scheduled delivery date and time and YouPackWeStore.com representatives attempted to contact the student before returning to the storage location, the customer will have to reschedule the delivery. If this happens, the Customer may be responsible for paying a missed delivery fee.
YouPackWeStore.com provides storage services subject to a number of restrictions. The Customer accepts full responsibility and liability for and damages or losses that result from the Customer's failure to adhere to these service restrictions. No storage service shall be rendered if:
The customer acknowledges that the Customer is liable for any damage that the Customer's storage contents may inflict on the property of others.
The Customer agrees to pay the total cost of the services provided by YouPackWeStore.com based on the number and type of items at the time of pickup and the prices contained on the YouPackWeStore.com website.
All charges for services are due and payable prior to delivery of stored items. Unless stated otherwise, storage is billed monthly with rent being due on or before the first day of your billing cycle.
If the Customer is a student enrolled in co-op work term or on summer-break, we do not require payment until the end of the storage period (maximum 5-month duration).
Pricing for the services shall be in accordance with the pricing schedule contained on the YouPackWeStore.com website.
YouPackWeStore.com automatically protects each YouPackWeStore.com storage package against loss or damage due to YouPackWeStore.com's negligence up to a value of $100 CDN. Unless the Customer purchases additional declared value from YouPackWeStore.com, the customer agrees that the released value of each package is no greater than $100 and that YouPackWeStore.com's liability is limited to $100 CDN.
Claims for loss of, or damage to, the Customer's property must be filed with YouPackWeStore.com by requesting a claims from YouPackWeStore.com. Claims shall be deemed waived if not filled within 10 days following delivery of the package.
Damaged items must have evidence of physical damage to the exterior of the packaging of the item. YouPackWeStore.com cannot be held liable for concealed damage to items within a package without physical damage to the exterior of the package.
If you fail to pay the storage rate or other fees on time, it means you are in "default" under this Agreement. You may (at our sole discretion) be denied access to your belongings if you fail to pay by the due date.
YouPackWeStore has a lien upon all personal property stored by you for outstanding charges, present or future, in relation to the personal property, and for expenses reasonably incurred in its sale or disposal as permitted by applicable law.
The Customer agrees that the Customer's failure to be present on the scheduled delivery day and the Customer's failure to communicate with YouPackWeStore.com concerning an alternate delivery arrangement constitutes abandonment of their stored possessions.
The Customer agrees to pay YouPackWeStore.com for any disposal fees relating to abandonment of the Customer's items.
We reserve the right to change our terms, our pricing, and our privacy principles immediately with no notice if the changes expand YouPackWeStore's obligations, if the changes govern new services being initially offered by YouPackWeStore, or if the changes reduce your obligations to YouPackWeStore.
